Our mission is simple: bake vegan treats that taste just like the ones you remember. No strange ingredients, no funny flavors—just cookies, brownies, and cakes that feel warm, nostalgic, and irresistibly good.

About me
My name is Alicia Osban
My love of baking started around the age of 15 when I took a cooking/baking class in high school. It wasn't until I started working at Taste Budd's Cafe in Red Hook, NY that I became really obsessed. I was baking whenever I could, and helping out in the Taste Budd's bakery on multiple occasions making large batches of cookies, cutting & peeling apples, and even learning how to make French macarons!
In April of 2020 I became vegan for many reasons - the environment, my love for animals, the realization that I never really liked meat, and my endometriosis diagnosis. Veganism quickly became a challenge for me and my love of baked goods. I started baking more at home so I could still enjoy the things I loved. I live in Staatsburg and there are no fully vegan bakeries close by. I have always wanted more options in my local area and now I want to be that option for you!
2026 is my first year owning this business and I have a lot to learn and a lot of room to grow. Right now I am focusing on local events (think Hyde Park, Germantown, Staatsburg, Clinton Corners, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Tivoli, & Germantown), pre-orders and I have no plans to open a brick & mortar any time soon. Having a regular spot where people can find me is my main goal right now and I can’t wait to see what else the future holds!
